Contendro I is the world number 1 stallion for eventing, he is also ranked at number 16 for showjumping aswel as producing multiple dressage Grand Prix winners.

Although Contendro's heavy breeding schedule only allowed for sporadic appearances at shows, when he competed, he always took home a ribbon.
